FAQS
What is the drain on the WiseBox when it is turned off?
When switched off, the power drain for the WiseBox is 20mA.
How many switches can I add to the Wise Receivers?
You can add a maximum of 32 mixed switches to each Wise receiver, for example, 4 PIR sensors, 20 wall switches and 8 remotes.
How many Wise Receivers can I control from one swtich or remote?
You can operate as many as you like, there is no limit (you must be in range for the receivers to work). You will however be switching a circuit from each receiver on at the same time.
What is the signal range of the Wise Receivers?
Outside, the range is approximately 250 metres in open areas, inside the range is shorter, this depends on how many objects the signal has to go through. For example if you fitted the WiseDim in your brick garage and that was 30 metres away from your house and the switch was located behind two brick walls, then the range might be reduce to 50 metres.
Can changes be made to the casing of the Wise Receivers?
No. Any changes to any of these products will void the warranty.
Are the products online compatible with the original switchable WiseBox?
No. All products online use the 868MHz frequency. The original WiseBox uses the 433MHz frequency. The original Wise Box comes with a black key fob and oval buttons on the wall switch.
Can you fit the Wise Receivers outside?
The WiseDim and WiseBox are rated at IP54, so you can fit the box almost anywhere, inside or out. It cannot be submerged. The other receivers cannot be fitted outside without putting the receiver into a waterproof box.
How many different switches, ie Wall Switch, Remote, PIR can I add to the Wise Receivers?
The maximum amount mixed switches is 32 total. i.e. 5 wall switches, 25 remotes, and 2 PIR sensors.
How long is the warranty on the Wise Controls products?
The warranty is 1 year, this covers manufacturing defects.
Is there a signal booster for the Wise Controls products?
Yes. There is a plug-in booster. This booster will amplify and repeat the signal giving 150 metres range from the booster. You can use more than one booster.

PROGRAMMING
To program the WiseSwitch Box follow these steps.
How to install the WiseSwitch?
Connect a mains 240V supply into the WiseSwitch box using terminals on the left Live, Neutral and Earth.
Connect up to four circuits using the remainding terminals (Live and Neutral, 240V output).
How to change the switching mode?
The dip switch panel at the top right within the WiseSwitch can change the switching mode from switching (on/off) to a push-to-make operation.
Caution ? Make sure that the circuit is OFF before changing the dip switch.
The dip switch in the UP position will change the channel to a push-to-make circuit.
The dip switch in the DOWN position will change the channel to an on/off switching circuit (default position).
How to program the WiseSwitch circuits?
Make sure that the mains 240V supply into the WiseSwitch box is ON.
Press and hold 'P1' (Circuit one), the buzzer will sound continuously.
With 'P1' held down, press one of the main four buttons on the wall or remote switch.
The buzzer will sound intermittently to confirm the programming is successful.
You will now be able to control channel 1 using the selected switch button.
Repeat this procedure for all circuits that you have connected to the WiseDim Box. Do this using P2, P3 and P4, and the remaining buttons on the switch.
How to program the WiseSwitch with the 7 button style switch (ALL ON / 2 ON / ALL OFF) functions?
The 7 button switch has 4 buttons for normal operation plus three more buttons to turn circuits either 'all on', '2 circuits on' or 'all off'. The 'P5' button programs all circuits to switch on/off. To program this feature you will need to have a 7 button switch (uses the three bottom buttons on the switch)
Press and hold 'P5' (All Circuits), the buzzer will sound continuously.
With 'P5' held down, press any one of the three buttons at the bottom of the 7 button style switch.
The buzzer will sound intermittently to confirm the programming is successful.
The function is now activated and works as follows for the 7 button switch, the left button turns on all circuits, the middle button turns on the first 2 circuits and the right button turns off all circuits.
How to program the WiseSwitch ALL ON / ALL OFF function? (requires 2 or 4 button switch / remote)
